I wanted to join along in the fun at Mama Dweeb’s blog. Mostly just to compare how I talk vs. how other people talk!
Being that I’m on my way out to a vow renewal ceremony and my babysitter is waiting here while I type this, I should get going!

You have no accent whatsoever! Sound similar to me:)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are from the midwest. Are you?
ReplyDeleteDUH I see, Minnesota up there LOL
ReplyDeleteI didn't detect any accent. You are adorable. So funny that your little guy came out while you were vlogging. =) My 7yo helped me with mine. Your vlog is bright N cheery. Mine is dark because I did mine in bad light and around 11pm. I let my boys stay up late on Friday nigihts.

No accent at all! But I say soda...but a lot of people in Utah call it pop.

The most Minnesotan thing you said was "Bag".
ReplyDeleteFun list of words. Here in Texas there are many words that sound funny to me. For example, my pastor said "boil water" this morning and I thought he said bowl water! Renee
you're too cute. are you a native to Minnesota because you don't sound like it
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I love that you say "ont" for aunt!
ReplyDeleteI just did one of these on my blog, too. So much fun.

Oh Amy. You sound like Amy to me :)
ReplyDeleteI only noticed an accent when you said aunt and bag. It's so fun to put a voice with your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy!! So glad you joined, I didn't know you were from Minnesota. Before I click play I am expecting you to sound like my relatives from Wisconsin, heavy on the "oh" sound. We'll see :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't have as heavy of an accent as I expected but you do say "both" like my aunt does...and house, you sound like her too :)
LOL you said "Beg" for "bag" :)
I am going to do another one of these cause I have been collecting ideas and words from people. I like you Bag vs. sack idea a lot! Will add it to the list!
