Call me a Slacker…

I have a million ideas of things I need to post about. But really – every time I start I end up scolding myself for not writing about the things that I need to write about; like the next product reviews that I am supposed to have done by now or are due this coming week!

I may be posting more than one per day for the next few weeks just to catch up – and some big things are happening here in our house… so of course I’ll have to throw in some personal blogging as well, I hope you guys don’t mind!

My Grandma just sent me this cute email about how in “AAADD - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder” One never gets anything done in a day because they’re constantly distracted by the next thing… It got me thinking how screwed I am if this is age related! I am already feeling the symptoms and I’m not even in my 30’s yet!

Its all a chain reaction: A must happen before B… But before B, you need to do C… and before C happens, you’ve got to find out D… and so on and on it goes.  At the end of the day you’re exhausted, but then you got nothing accomplished and your list has now doubled for tomorrow.

My life in a nutshell.

  2. I am a slacker too. I procrastinate way too much, UGH.

  3. I do the same thing. I end up procrastinating on the time sensitive things and wasting time on the smaller tasks.

  5. I often just sit blankly staring at my computer screen, trying to figure out what to do first, even though I have a dozen things that need to get done!

  6. I am so there with all of you!!! I'm in my late 30's and I do that ALL the time. It's impossible when you have kids to actually start something and finish it. You get distracted or called away to do something else. Then by the time you get back to it you have a bunch of other things that you started doing-and haven't finished. I so needed to read this today. And I think you so much for posting it. I'm exhausted, just ate dinner at 10:30pm after a long day of straight running...I didn't finish not ONE thing....Grrrr

@Tammy...I'm sorry honey but the thought of someone sitting staring blankly at their computer screen..just makes me laugh...maybe because I do the same or because at this time of night I get really silly because I'm soo tired :0)~

Hang in there all...it HAS to get better :0)

  8. We all get in that slump. Last year was really bad for me, but I'm determined not to do it so much this year. I hate when I get to feeling like that as I'm usually always swamped with reviews so procrastinating just makes it worse, lol. :)
