I’m Back!

Well it took a little while, but we’re finally starting to settle in in our new home!  It’s so exciting to have space!  The weather has been unusually warm this week here and therefore we’re even getting a sneak peek at what our back yard actually looks like.  Weird note on that: we have two, yes 2, fire pits.  Interesting what you find under a pile of snow – I guess we’ll be having some S’mores this summer! :)

My husband is quickly learning the tricks of the handyman trade… he’s been a plumber, installer, electrician, and general handy man over the last few days! We have had it up and down with Comcast for our internet – and it took them three trips and four days to get it working, which was a not fun. Its crazy how much we rely on internet!

I’m very nervous about all the projects that we have to work on to keep this huge structure happy and healthy for the next 18+ years; but I’m positive it will be worth all the effort! Bigger Projects on the to do list?? Flooring in kitchen/dining room asap, deck replacement, new driveway, gutters, plumbing in laundry room, {someday} kitchen remodel, landscaping, railings on stairs inside and outside… The list will never end I’m sure!But on the bright side: I’m back! Internet is up and running and life will be returning to (somewhat) normal…

Clearly Andrew loves the space to run around – and Ethan is so great, he couldn’t be much happier :) Although I have to say, he has decided to refuse the bottle 100%, leaving me with no babysitter options and a 2 1/2 hour window for me to have freedom at any given moment. So much for giving up nursing, huh?

The next set of giveaways will be going up starting Monday morning!  And then keep your eyes peeled, sometime early march I’ll have a totally NEW blog design that I couldn’t be more excited about!
