Compact Car Conspiracy Theory? Super Bowl Fun!

The SuperBowl is almost here – and what better reason for a non-football-fan to watch the SuperBowl?? THE COMMERCIALS!  The SuperBowl is the ONE time of the year where I actually sit down and use my Tivo for the opposite reason we purchased it.  We *LOVE* the commercials.  I love that the commercials remain at the top of the talk for several days, if not weeks after the SuperBowl.  In the blogging and social media world that I’ve been living in over the past few months, I’ve seen more and more Buzz created about these adds, which just makes me that much more excited for this year’s commercials! 
Apparently there has been some talk about the Hyundai and certain Compact Car Conspiracy Theories about consumers being brainwashed into buying compact cars, and suffering through the lack of head and foot room and style. And Hyundai has worked on a few commercials to show during the SuperBowl that will unveil the entire message of their conspiracy theories and their ‘Snap out of it!’ campaign.
The Conspiracy of the sounds of a car going in reverse, in reverse is a neat one – a ‘back masking’ technique used in compact cars to brainwash you into believing that you love your compact car!
 I like the videos also of the sheep in different locales driving cars! What a crazy thing to witness!

  1. I have to say this is just strange to me. I think it is one of those clever ad campaigns that is either going to go over really big or just bomb.
