<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'>
<p>This post brought to you by <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/disclosure_clicks?oid=2960762'>ogilvy</a>. All opinions are 100% mine.</p>
<p> I am never one to watch the news. The news just saddens me and worries me all the time. However, I also do not agree with staying completely in the dark about news events. It is important to know what goes on in the world. This world is changing so fast and things are happening every day. I just don't care to hear about Mr. so and so and his wrong doings in a neighboring home town. I prefer to hear about the news that impacts todays world. </p>
<p> So typically just before I go to bed at night, I pull up some of the websites that I like to catch up with news - and read the stories that I'm interested in reading - and then get off to bed. I do think, however, how great it would be to be able to read the news in bed, on say - and iPad... I saw this app called <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/clicks?lid=8902&oid=2960762'>the collection</a> which is available exclusively for the iPad; it is a <em>'monthly “appazine” exploring globally relevant topics which will excite and challenge top-tier audiences.' </em>The description on this app sounds amazing: <em>Besides first-class articles, audio, photos and videos, inter-active elements will include panoramic photography, 3D digital animation, creative morphing, rubbing, X-Ray lens and much much more. </em></p>
<p> Being that the iPad is not in my budget - I look for the contests that are out there to win them. And considering that most of my readers are those who enjoy entering contests; I thought I could share this with you as well! The Collection is also offering the chance to win an iPad through twitter. You simply have to <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/clicks?lid=8912&oid=2960762'>tweet to enter</a></p>
<p> I know I'll be tweeting about this at least daily - and you should too! You never know who might win :)</p>

Andrew loves it, we love it, everyone I cook it for loves it! How could you go wrong? I Really thought I had changed up the recipe, but after going back and looking at hers – I see it’s not all that much different… just the chicken :)</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBH4KvFdI/AAAAAAAABBg/CWlSj8vjUIU/s1600-h/DSC07918%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07918" border="0" alt="DSC07918" align="right" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBIP_TvSI/AAAAAAAABBk/MeyBaF_NMNo/DSC07918_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="151" height="187"></a>I’d have to preface this and probably many future recipe posts with one thing: I often cook whole chickens in my pampered chef deep covered baker – because I love it, and it takes only 30 minutes to cook a whole chicken in the microwave, and it turns out perfectly. Every. Time. A whole chicken at Target costs a little less than $4, and lasts our family for at least two hearty meals. It’s one of my favorite kitchen items (along with MANY other pampered chef items). <this is not a sponsored post…> </p> <p>OK. Back to Business.</p> <p><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBIjdSkgI/AAAAAAAABBo/a9KyEkMwlKY/s1600-h/DSC07916%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07916" border="0" alt="DSC07916" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBIx6VHZI/AAAAAAAABBs/_KBfAdbYcHE/DSC07916_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="134" height="95"></a></p> <p>What you need for this recipe:</p> <p>Shredded or Cut-Up Chicken (however much to suit your family, we use apx 1/2 of a 3lb whole chicken…about two large chicken breasts worth)<br>3/4 Sweet Yellow Onion, chopped finely<br>1 Can Black Beans, rinsed and drained<br>1 Can Corn, drained<br>1 cup Salsa (I use half the jar of salsa that I buy, and I get restaurant style)<br>1 cup Chicken Broth (I use the liquid left over from cooking my whole chicken. It’s a bit more fatty, but totally delicious.)<br>2-3 cups Shredded Mozzarella cheese<br>5-6 Tortillas cut into small strips(can be more or less, just depending on what you have and how big of a family you’re trying to feed! I tend to lean towards 5 so I can make this meal twice with a bag of 10 tortillas)<br>Sour Cream for Topping!!</p> <p>Preheat oven to 450</p> <p> <a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBJLuZmzI/AAAAAAAABBw/iG5FOdtrZIo/s1600-h/DSC07923%5B8%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07923" border="0" alt="DSC07923" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBJe8N-rI/AAAAAAAABB0/nwa7LPUMBhw/DSC07923_thumb%5B8%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="168" height="103"></a><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBJxJ1NdI/AAAAAAAABB4/qEZErs0k-n4/s1600-h/DSC07925%5B7%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07925" border="0" alt="DSC07925" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBKNUerVI/AAAAAAAABB8/pruDBg8fFNo/DSC07925_thumb%5B7%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="191" height="103"></a><br>Sautee the chopped onion and shredded chicken along with apx 1 tbsp of the chicken drippings from cooking the chicken (or you could use oil) in a large frying pan. <a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBKVndSsI/AAAAAAAABCA/buYu4img6HM/s1600-h/DSC07927%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07927" border="0" alt="DSC07927" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TafBK1h_k3I/AAAAAAAABCE/LSYhZdx8VTg/DSC07927_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="244" height="129"></a>In a smaller sauce pan I heat 1 cup salsa and 1 cup chicken liquid (or broth) slowly to a boil. Yum! Review and Giveaway<p>With Easter just around the corner here, the candy is all over the stores, and baskets are being sold by the dozen it seems! Easter is one of those holidays that my family typically celebrated while my cousins and I were younger; but then it quickly became a special day to have a brunch at a fancy restaurant, and a few special Easter treats handed to each other. </p> <p>If you have family members that you’re looking for, and would like something different, or something a little bit more fun – Look no further than Truffle Truffle – a gourmet truffle shop. They have the perfect gift for anyone (21+) for Easter – They’re called Boozy Bunnies! <i><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/Tade-6HlFLI/AAAAAAAABBQ/18p6yVtXF38/s1600-h/boozybunnies2%5B1%5D.jpg"></p> <p><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="boozybunnies2" border="0" alt="boozybunnies2" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/Tade_D4fPJI/AAAAAAAABBU/V0oBZjDww5U/boozybunnies2_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="240" height="160"></a>The perfect gift to upgrade any 21+ Easter basket,<br>these glittery goodies will hop right off the bar and into your heart! Inspired by classic cocktails -- mint julep, pina colada, rum punch & mudslide -- one each of these boozy bunnies will arrive in a wooden berry basket complete with paper grass and the perfect dose of (adult–friendly) Easter cheer! </p> <p></i>They’re quite tasty – and honestly coming from the standpoint of not being one who likes liquor or mixed drinks so much – they’re pretty dang good! Of course I love the outer chocolate shell, but on the inside is a delicious flavored marshmallow crème that has the mixed drink flavor. None of the boozy bunnies were over powering or weird tasting – They just tasted good :) I shared them with a friend and she liked them a lot too! </p> <p>Truffle Truffle is offering one of my readers the chance to win a Boozy Bunnies package for delivery by Easter! Next week is <font size="3"><strong>SPRING CLEANING and Home Projects Week</strong>!!</font> I’ll have posts and reviews and giveaways that are focused around the home! I’m so excited to bring you this week long event that will have some really awesome giveaways :D</p> <p>Following that is a <strong><font size="3">Mother’s Day Event</font></strong> with some great giveaways that I’m sure you’re all going to love :) </p> <p>I’m also going to be challenging myself with some posts about <strong>dinners</strong> that I make. I am going to try to at least take a picture of the dinner that I’ve made – and trying to use what’s in my cupboards without having to go out and get too many groceries (Obviously fresh stuff is important, but I want to use the backlog of other items I have purchased over the past several months!) I’ll be sharing some recipes with you soon! Nothing fancy, just the stuff I make on a regular basis.</p> Amy from GrinningCheektoCheekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07921725504245104564noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170795200460469095.post-44172495474907814802011-04-13T10:22:00.001-05:002011-04-13T10:25:43.690-05:00Keratin Enhance Review and Giveaway<p>I love pregnancy. I don’t ever have an easy pregnancy – but I love the effects on my body - mostly because I have only ever LOST weight with my pregnancy – but then highly in part to my beautiful nails, acne-free face, shiny hair, and that cute belly bump! But its no wonder that I don’t like the after effects of pregnancy: crying baby, lack of sleep, bags around the eyes, six weeks of bleeding followed by major hormonal swings and craziness… </p> <p>But the worst part of all of it?? MY HAIR FALLS OUT! With Andrew – I lost many handfuls of hair… It was quite.. traumatic. Then now with Ethan, I have lost SO much hair, that I can’t even part my hair down the sides any more.. I’ve got bald spots! (OK, so not really bald, but… currently bare) </p> <p><a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaW_r2MQBCI/AAAAAAAABAo/5XLvHR0fakY/s1600-h/ResVitale-Logo-Web%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Print" border="0" alt="Print" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaW_sJ2jmnI/AAAAAAAABAs/uuyYlv22vgo/ResVitale-Logo-Web_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="240" height="40"></a><br>So when I see a product that is promoting the strength of the hair and reducing hair loss with washing? I’m going to jump on it. So Here we are.</p> <p><em>A must have for beautiful hair, nails and skin, Keratin Enhance is our latest innovation in "beauty from within" supplementation. Combining Cynatine® HNS Keratin, the world’s first ‘soluble Keratin’, with Biotin and Resveratrol, this innovative formula provides a nourishing blend of science-backed ingredients for supporting and maintaining healthy and youthful hair, nails and skin. A clinical study demonstrated that hair loss from washing was reduced by 30% over a 90-day period, and hair strength was improved by 12% with a marked improvement in the shine and brightness of hair. Keratin Enhance is your new beauty secret to getting gorgeous hair, strong nails and firm skin.</em></p> <p>To be totally honest: I don’t think I’ve seen any results. My Hair is still falling out in handfuls – but that may be just what is destined for my hair from the hormones of post-pregnancy – and maybe the rest is getting stronger. I can’t really tell. Again, I have only been taking it for a few weeks- and it says over a 90 day period. But meanwhile; I am looking forward to seeing some results. I’d like my hair to grow back (and hopefully not go through the awkward stage of 4” long hair….)<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaW_sdcHviI/AAAAAAAABAw/dDTy2uIJWgE/s1600-h/rv_keratin%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="" border="0" alt="" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaW_s3NenLI/AAAAAAAABA0/jmhW6fLwb2k/rv_keratin_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="150" height="240"></a>Keratin Enhance can be purchased online at <a href="http://www.resvitale.com">www.resvitale.com</a> for $39.99. They came and checked everything out (all was well!) – but they gave us some Fireman Helmets for the kids </p> <p>They said when they were done checking the house out, they would let us check out the truck, which was super nice – But they got another call, and had to go. So we got to see them drive away with their sirens on, but no fun times in the truck.</p> <p>Either way they were super nice – I tried to get a picture, but the camera was set on video – and this is all I got.</p> <div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:510ce5ef-bac4-4493-bad3-e9d30c25dfd8" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"><div><object width="448" height="252"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SkrpT53ro28?hl=en&hd=1"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SkrpT53ro28?hl=en&hd=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="448" height="252"></embed></object></div></div> <p>Joe thinks it’s pretty funny if you loop it, and keep playing it over, it makes a pretty good beat… Haha. we’re lame. :)</p> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.blenza.com/linkies/autolink.php?owner=akronstedt&postid=13Apr2011&meme=ww"></script> Amy from GrinningCheektoCheekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07921725504245104564noreply@blogger.com27tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170795200460469095.post-40487351171699276072011-04-12T10:05:00.001-05:002011-04-12T10:05:25.730-05:00What’s Going on HeRe?!!<p>So, if you’re wondering – this is NOT my new blog.  My other template kinda crashed, so I had to revert to the blogger template temporarily… Please let me know if anything is screwey. Apparently there is a blog spammer on the loose, emailing people asking questions about personal information or trying to get your phone number for some reason? he/she is using emails from the comments sections of giveaway posts.<br />
<br />
She/He has been using the emails:<br />

I had a friend here the other day – and Just as they got here I realized the toilet paper in our main bathroom (the one my husband regularly uses) was out.  So I ran in there to change the roll really quick because I didn’t want her son (who’s 3 1/2 and fully potty trained) to get confused about where to find the toilet paper.</p> <p>Anyway. I must have done the same thing the last time they came over, because my husband commented on it today.  Here’s our conversation:</p> <p>Joe: Kari must have replaced the toilet paper roll again? <br />Amy: What? Why do you say that? <br />Joe: Well she did it last time too – she puts it on backwards! <br />Amy: What do you mean backwards?! <br />Joe: Well Its supposed to go like where when Andrew is unrolling the toilet paper(showing with his hands unraveling TP roll like only a toddler would do) then it unrolls easily… <br />Amy: Like at the hotels where they fold the last piece of TP? <br />Joe: yeah. that’s how its supposed to go. It’s supposed to be easy to get off the roll. <br />Amy: Why?? *dumbfounded because TP is just easy to me and I don’t really think too much about the direction it is in…* <br />Joe: Well.. it’s just easier that way.. like if I have to blow my nose, I don’t want to have to bend over to get the TP off.. I just want it to roll off. <br />Amy: wow. Ok. Well, I did it! Never knew there was a right and wrong way! </p> <p>So: What way do you put your TP on?? </p> <p align="center"><strong>Forwards?</strong></p> <p align="center"><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDbxaWRDrI/AAAAAAAAA-4/KvdksJthsNA/s1600-h/IMG_4855%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="IMG_4855" border="0" alt="IMG_4855" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDbxsFFv8I/AAAAAAAAA-8/eKTPEMJpz28/IMG_4855_thumb%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="244" height="239" /></a></p> <p align="center">or <strong>Backwards</strong>?</p> <p><a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDbx6Zfj0I/AAAAAAAAA_A/37sQQ337pKo/s1600-h/IMG_4854%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="IMG_4854" border="0" alt="IMG_4854" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDbyZn2fYI/AAAAAAAAA_E/sYvuIpXPsRA/IMG_4854_thumb%5B4%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="244" height="223" /></a></p> Amy from GrinningCheektoCheekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07921725504245104564noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170795200460469095.post-7932981725861069432011-04-09T16:19:00.001-05:002011-04-09T16:19:18.205-05:00Housekeeping!<p>So just a question for y’all!  What do you think of the ads? Are they good? bad? don’t care?? My husband said he finds them a bit distracting – but I want to know what you, my readers think!</p> <p>I know I said, well pretty much more than a month ago that I was going to have a new blog design. but its not here… yet.  My designer is rather.. How do I say this nicely? Slow (and it’s quite frustrating) but it will be here soon…  I hope. Here’s a sneak peek!<a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDNVFVuOSI/AAAAAAAAA-w/UwXEJBKdv8w/s1600-h/image%5B4%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDNVbu8z0I/AAAAAAAAA-0/hpK87nBj1pk/image_thumb%5B12%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="244" height="70" /></a>Whenever it is finally complete, Please excuse the mess, and please PLEASE<strong> PLEASE</strong> comment to me or send me an email if you notice anything funky that needs changing (even something small like – I don’t like this comment form because it’s too much work, etc) I try to make things as simple and easy as possible, because I know how precious your time is, and want you to come back!</p> <p>I am having another mini-event in two weeks! Its going to be a Spring Cleaning and other Home Projects event! more details will soon follow with opportunities for extra entries as well :)</p> <p>Thanks for your opinions! </p> Amy from GrinningCheektoCheekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07921725504245104564noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170795200460469095.post-41266709197976349432011-04-09T15:49:00.001-05:002011-04-09T15:49:58.421-05:00The Happy Handle Bar!<p>Have you seen those stories about the amount of germs on a shopping cart handle bar?? Yuck, right?  All too often too, when my son was a little younger – I would find him chewing on the handle bar!! I’d have to stop him each time.. then I started bringing some form of toy that was safe for Andrew to chew on while we were at the grocery store. <a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGarahPxI/AAAAAAAAA-Q/boR_zhh1ldQ/s1600-h/image%5B18%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGawBcVwI/AAAAAAAAA-U/-A66I0Bdx50/image_thumb%5B9%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="244" height="110" /></a>Now we have Ethan who is five months old and before too long will be sitting in the shopping cart also – meaning we’re going to have to go through those stages all over again. </p> <p>I saw this cute handle bar cover, and I liked it right away.. because it’s not like carrying a bed into the store for your kids to sit in the cart all protected, but rather it is just a smaller cover for the handle bars alone.  It fits into a pretty average sized purse – not a tiny purse, but you don’t need a luggage bag or anything.<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGbnPnl7I/AAAAAAAAA-Y/2eXn8nbl6I4/s1600-h/image%5B22%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGb6HTntI/AAAAAAAAA-c/YQH-SD5Ot3M/image_thumb%5B29%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="244" height="154" /></a></p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGcRJM-KI/AAAAAAAAA-g/iNHEF_SP1wU/s1600-h/image%5B24%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: left; margin-left: 0px; border-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="left" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGcvvAK3I/AAAAAAAAA-k/bgjhLi1E178/image_thumb%5B32%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="109" height="147" /></a>I love that it has a stretchy piece for sippy cups and a clip to attach the toys to. Keeps the kids busy and the toys off the floor.</p> <p><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGdE2tfjI/AAAAAAAAA-o/7yE3Ns1aoU0/s1600-h/image%5B27%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" align="right" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TaDGde_6-2I/AAAAAAAAA-s/7Yk9pfhNeFo/image_thumb%5B37%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="139" height="107" /></a>My personal favorite part is the pockets to put stuff in.  I’m always fussing around with my coupons in the store (being a double coupon days shopper, it’s rather important to be somewhat organized!) and now I have two pockets that I can use to store the coupons in while shopping.</p> <p>The Happy Handle Bar is machine washable.  It is available in several different fabrics and fits most shopping carts. If you visit <a href="http://www.buyhappyhandlebarcover.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.buyhappyhandlebarcover.com</a> you can see their video and order it for $19.99!</p> <p><font size="1">*I was given product for review purposes. It’s so great to be able to go outside and play!! This was the #1 thing besides house space that we were looking forward to when buying a new house vs. living in the condo. Now we’ve got sun shining through our windows and the cool breeze is everywhere – Its my favorite time of the year for talking a stroll!! <br />
My husband loves to rollerblade, and was looking at <a href="http://www.morestrollers.com/Strollers-Jogging--C625-4491.htm" target="_blank">jogging strollers</a> with the idea that he could rollerblade with the kids too! We always get so excited about the summer fun possibilities! Andrew got some rollerblades for Christmas, so I’m sure he’s going to want to go with dad some time. I have some too – I just haven’t been on them since… 5 years ago?? I don’t know.. I’d maybe need to push the stroller for extra balance for myself!!<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ-ZB8ZN8oI/AAAAAAAAA-I/ryPuuSTcOPc/s1600-h/IMG_4847%5B6%5D.jpg"><img alt="IMG_4847" border="0" height="288" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ-ZCM7ZdyI/AAAAAAAAA-M/rpBZ4Wk8X6w/IMG_4847_thumb%5B7%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="IMG_4847" width="300" /></a>A friend of ours was able to give us their (non-jogging) double stroller – which has been such a blessing! It has made life so much easier for going on long walks with both kids. Andrew is starting to want to go biking or most the time walk on his own, so I’ve been putting Ethan in the single stroller sometimes. But for longer walks, I bring the double stroller just in case Andrew needs a rest.<br />
Has anyone out there tried the <a href="http://www.morestrollers.com/BOB-Gear-Strollers--C625-6072.htm" target="_blank">bob stroller</a>? They look super nice! The question would be if I would want a one person or two – We’re not sure about any more kids yet.. so that choice might have to wait. :)<br />

<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lROHvnXI/AAAAAAAAA9w/i8KGCgCD5Sc/s1600-h/DSC07905.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="DSC07905" border="0" alt="DSC07905" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lR_g3NLI/AAAAAAAAA90/3TEq8firI6k/DSC07905_thumb.jpg?imgmax=800" width="462" height="164" /></a>It’s something that will eventually become an educational tool as well, showing that each letter of Ethan’s name has a corresponding Animal name. <a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lSBLaSBI/AAAAAAAAA94/-3WqPTUVSkU/s1600-h/image%5B1%5D.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lSj9nb7I/AAAAAAAAA98/rKEZ2SHyMR4/image_thumb%5B1%5D.png?imgmax=800" width="326" height="105" /></a>The Kranky Krab website is also very user friendly.  You can easily put in the name of your child, and see immediately how your picture will look – but pictures will never do the justice to how beautiful they look in person!<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lTIFwY0I/AAAAAAAAA-A/BMoWhOgTnMU/s1600-h/image22.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZ3lTVrA2tI/AAAAAAAAA-E/SiwUYwGMRl4/image_thumb43.png?imgmax=800" width="149" height="180" /></a>They also have fairies, and monsters, alphabet posters, and some other misc. items to choose from when choosing a print for your child.  </p> <p>So when you’re looking for items for your child’s room, or for a gift for someone – the Kranky krab is an awesome choice!</p> <p>Two lucky winners will receive $15 each to use towards any purchase at the KrankyKrab.com website!</p> <div align="center"><b>WIN IT!!</b></div> <div align="center"><b>Two Lucky Winners will receive $15 Gift Cards for KrankyKrab.com!</b></div> <div align="center"><strong>.</strong></div> <div align="center"><strong></strong></div> <div align="center"><u>This first entry is <b>MANDATORY</b></u><b>:</b>  visit <a href="http://www.krankykrab.com">www.krankykrab.com</a> and tell me what you would like (which animal/letters). </div> <div align="center"><b>. <br />Optional Extra Entries</b>: (only after mandatory entry is done!) </div> <ul> <li>Subscribe to my blog via email (upper left email insertion box) </li> <li>Follow my blog publicly via GFC (right side center) </li> <li>Post my Button on your blog. Theirs….<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZzPBZoKkII/AAAAAAAAA9Q/HOyUyPWPw0w/s1600-h/image%5B4%5D.png"><img alt="image" border="0" height="354" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZzPB1AJipI/AAAAAAAAA9U/6Pzt7mCwjZE/image_thumb%5B5%5D.png?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="image" width="412" /></a><br />
Ours… ,LoL!<br />
<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZzPCY8gUQI/AAAAAAAAA9Y/Pf9g2hbPM58/s1600-h/IMG_4836%5B5%5D.jpg"><img alt="IMG_4836" border="0" height="315" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZzPCk7et5I/AAAAAAAAA9c/J9NDmuen8vA/IMG_4836_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="IMG_4836" width="405" /></a><br />
Pretty sure a kid didn’t help make theirs. Because I’m usually pretty good at this stuff, and mine sucks… Although it tasted very good.<br />
<h6>Ingredients</h6><ul><li>1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed </li>
<li>1/2 to 1 teaspoon green liquid food coloring </li>
<li>36 vanilla wafers </li>
<li>1 banana, peeled and cut into 36 slices<b> It took us 2 banana’s to get 36 slices, and we cut pretty small!</b> </li>
<li>Decorations* <b>I couldn’t find any mini m&m’s, so I used the big ones… I recommend mini’s.</b> </li>
</ul><h6>Preparation</h6><ul><li>1 Place whipped topping in a medium bowl; gently fold in food coloring. <b>I decided to add banana pudding mix in with the cool whip – for more flavor. this is why mine is more…rough.</b> </li>
<li>2 Place 1 teaspoon whipped topping on the flat side of 1 vanilla wafer; top with a banana slice. Do the same thing all over again with the whipped topping, vanilla wafers, and banana slices. You'll have 36 stacks. Put 6 stacks together in a row to make a log. Curve log slightly, if you'd like. Do the same thing all over again with the remaining stacks. Spread remaining whipped topping on each log. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 8 hours. <b>With the pudding in there, it was thick enough to do the decorations without chilling.</b></li>
<li>3 Attach chocolate pieces to logs to resemble eyes and spots. Cut fruit roll into small pieces, and attach to logs to resemble mouths. To make the antennae and legs: Snap spaghetti strands in half. Separate candy ropes into strands. Cut strands into 12 (7-inch) segments. Tie a loose knot into 1 candy strand close to the end. Insert the tip of 1 strand of spaghetti into the knot, and carefully tighten. Starting at the knot, wind the candy strand around the spaghetti pressing gently as you go so the candy will stick to the spaghetti. Break the spaghetti off about an inch below the strand. Do the same thing all over again with the remaining 11 (7-inch) segments of candy and spaghetti. Insert into the logs just above the eyes to resemble antennae. Separate more candy ropes into thin strands. Cut strands into 6 dozen (1-inch) segments, and stick them into sides of logs to resemble legs. </li>

To help families stay healthy, Lysol has come out with a No-Touch Hand Soap System. The Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System automatically senses your hands and dispenses the perfect amount of soap to help kill 99.9% of bacteria. Furthermore, the soap is enriched with moisturizing ingredients.<br />
We learned rather quickly in Hygiene school the importance of sanitizing the room before each patient; including the soap bottle that your dirty hands touch. It’s really no surprise that anything hands-free is quickly becoming the way to go. In public restrooms you’ll often find hands-free flushing, water spouts, paper towel dispensers, and air-dryers. It was only a matter of time before the hands free soap dispensers came into public restrooms.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHg4GiFH6-X6yhbSHc9BrsdBg-FmxhkosD2yd6zzfzYRW3YMebbvFWUEJCaFqcmztoYDxvWRo4YNi5JjUVxNs0Lg4yD7YEU6-c8R21gC54u0-JTzmNnm0yXPdHeu34uM0UR6WJCc9geg8/s1600/no-touch-hand-soap-silver-system-md.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="328" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHg4GiFH6-X6yhbSHc9BrsdBg-FmxhkosD2yd6zzfzYRW3YMebbvFWUEJCaFqcmztoYDxvWRo4YNi5JjUVxNs0Lg4yD7YEU6-c8R21gC54u0-JTzmNnm0yXPdHeu34uM0UR6WJCc9geg8/s320/no-touch-hand-soap-silver-system-md.png" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="291" /></a>But what about your home? Isn’t it equally as gross? Shouldn’t you also be concerned about sanitizing your hand soap pump every time you wash your hands?? Many families do not suspect that the very germs they are washing away may be found on their soap pumps.<br />
I love that Lysol came out with a home version of the hands-free soap dispenser! Available in both white and stainless steel; the Lysol No-Touch hand system is great for any Kitchen or Bathroom. I currently only have one, so I have been using it in the kitchen; where my hands are often covered in gross raw chicken and other messes, and often need to be washed while making as little mess possible. We look forward to having more of these in our home to make hand-washing easier and more fun for our kids!<br />
Naturally, I think everyone should be using the Lysol no-touch system in their homes. These can be purchased at major retailers and I’ve even seen them at my local grocery stores, and of course –<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Lysol-No-Touch-Soap-System-Stainless/dp/B004KU844A?ie=UTF8&tag=lifea04b-20&link_code=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969" target="_blank"> amazon.com</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=lifea04b-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=B004KU844A" style="border: medium none; margin: 0px; padding: 0px ! important;" width="1" /><br />

Girl’s Night Out Game - Review {Giveaway Closed}After being a mom all week and having the highlight of my week being the time my son went pee on the potty – I needed a night … without kids. Being the mom I am, I’m not a partier, and I don’t enjoy dancing – so I needed a night with some girlfriends to laugh and have fun, but without loud music and partiers around us. Thankfully I had scheduled a get together with a couple of my best friends to have a Girls Night In. No Kids Allowed. <br />
I did this because I had to sample the game ‘What’s A DAME to Do?’. this game is.. nothing short of awesome. We laughed until we cried. This game night will definitely happen again.<a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgAoP9MiI/AAAAAAAAA8U/r4O5PDmDOZQ/s1600-h/52.png"><img alt="5" border="0" height="244" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgBHlVylI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/LYPJrP0HOqM/5_thumb.png?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="5" width="237" /></a>So about the game: <br />
<a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgBlnXV0I/AAAAAAAAA8c/oQHYJxnylnQ/s1600-h/DSC07882%5B4%5D.jpg"><img align="left" alt="DSC07882" border="0" height="244" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgCFhoZgI/AAAAAAAAA8g/_eR9BqmCJa0/DSC07882_thumb%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; float: left; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="DSC07882" width="126" /></a>Use female intuition and humor to guess how players would react to 'dame dilemmas.' <i>For example--You see an Ex at the grocery store 2 aisles away and you are NOT looking your best, what's a DAME to do?!® The answer is in the cards! The laughter begins when players look over their hand of Reaction Cards and give you answers that they think fit the bill. Would you -- Hide in the bathroom? Suck in your stomach? Have a little chat? Pray? Put on your sunglasses? Yell fire?? You secretly choose your answer, then players guess what you chose. So simple and fun! Who guessed you best? Get out the tasty treats and favorite beverages and find out! "It's like 'Sex and the City' meets 'Oprah!' "</i><br />
<br />

<li>Quick to learn, easy to play, low tech fun! <a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgCVIaPlI/AAAAAAAAA8k/OAO4DPOzw18/s1600-h/DSC07879%5B5%5D.jpg"><img align="left" alt="DSC07879" border="0" height="151" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgCrrTyDI/AAAAAAAAA8o/nspUUCReDrc/DSC07879_thumb%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; float: left; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="DSC07879" width="108" /></a>It took the three of us girls about 5 minutes to figure the game out. It’s not by any means a ‘dirty’ game, which is nice – but it does have some pretty funny things. It’s great to do with people you know.<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgC_FBM1I/AAAAAAAAA8s/rQJwG0mMRyE/s1600-h/DSC07878%5B7%5D.jpg"><img align="right" alt="DSC07878" border="0" height="153" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgDCu748I/AAAAAAAAA8w/yzaHGKQ3eQk/DSC07878_thumb%5B7%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; float: right; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="DSC07878" width="110" /></a>Like the description says: the laughter begins when players look over their hand of reaction cards. This is SO true. Every reaction whether practical or not, is HIILARIOUS given many of the circumstances. So as you’re privately looking at your set of reaction cards, you’re DYING of laughter because you get to think about each reaction for that particular scenario. It.is.hilarious.<br />
<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgDkWS0YI/AAAAAAAAA80/B7B_t59wE0Q/s1600-h/DSC07881%5B6%5D.jpg"><img align="left" alt="DSC07881" border="0" height="154" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZdgD54eELI/AAAAAAAAA84/IFItjNgsgkU/DSC07881_thumb%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; float: left; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="DSC07881" width="125" /></a>Ok – Well I think you all know where I stand with this game. Every woman should own this game and have a girls night at least a few times a year. When our husbands came back, they were trying to figure out what kind of ‘dirt’ we were talking about them behind their backs with the game.. so we had to show them the game.<br />
You can purchase this game online at <a href="http://www.gamesfordames.com/">www.gamesfordames.com</a>, or on amazon.com. They also have a list of places by state where you can purchase the game from a store at their website</li><br />

Featuring 3 <a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZYcZY56YAI/AAAAAAAAA7k/Iprv-tp1jJ4/s1600-h/BarneyHero_HiRes_pv%5B4%5D.jpg"><img align="right" alt="BarneyHero_HiRes_pv" border="0" height="240" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZYcZyo2JEI/AAAAAAAAA7o/ITdJk8zulFc/BarneyHero_HiRes_pv_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: inline; float: right; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="BarneyHero_HiRes_pv" width="122" /></a>DVDs at an incredible value: Let’s Pretend With Barney<b>, </b>Can<b> </b>You Sing That Song and Come on Over to Barney’s House, Barney, B.J.™ and Baby Bop™ are getting their groove on and inviting your little ones along for all the learning and imagination, music, laughter, fun and festivities! These are perfect for filling up those Easter baskets for Barney fans!</i><br />
<i>Ready, Set, Play! It’s a party on the playground with everyone’s favorite purple pal Barney in the all-new, 3-disc gift set Barney PlayDate Pack. Come along for some tee-rific fun as Barney and his friends build their own airplane for a tropical island adventure, put on a musical game show and visit Barney at home. It’s the ultimate playdate for all!</i><br />
My son is not a huge fan of Barney, when he watched the beginning of the DVD he kinda curled his lip and raised an eyebrow – and said “no. watch Thomas.”. So these DVD’s went to his friend Kianna – who absolutely loves Barney! She was so thrilled to get three movies in one pack too! Andrew is not much for singing nursery rhymes or other songs. He enjoys a few songs, but really doesn’t like watching really musical shows. He hates when I watch American Idol too…<br />
So if you have a child aged 1-5 who loves Barney or singing nursery rhymes – this is a great set of DVD’s to own. Perfect for any Easter Basket!<a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZYcaLmzpMI/AAAAAAAAA7s/6g5RuiD6Ugg/s1600-h/BarneyPlaydateDVDPack%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="BarneyPlaydateDVDPack" border="0" height="240" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZYcaoNf-VI/AAAAAAAAA7w/8Nyw80AWWqU/BarneyPlaydateDVDPack_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border: 0px none; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="BarneyPlaydateDVDPack" width="191" /></a>The 3-Pack of DVD’s will be available in stores on April 5th – and you can also enter to win them right here!<br />

I’m Amy and I’m a mom of two very young boys! My oldest is two years old, and my youngest is just 5 months! I love my boys and couldn’t' imagine life with another girl in the house :) <a href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm3wj0tqI/AAAAAAAAA6U/edZbEVP129Q/s1600-h/Andrew%20and%20Kianna%20045%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="Andrew and Kianna 045" border="0" height="169" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKHiyuG5h_ypHXE11C3aK2P-MKY-8SYeUEsCNniKpLPwvYgeF_t7xGXO_r4-RRGASR3-9CsH5lU6OttjoTTGWxyyGYsYENV9Ev4DAFrwbaucyGYZyMjkhZyf01fLtXW3lyzNqeHQbjlos/?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="Andrew and Kianna 045" width="244" /></a>Our 2 year old Andrew is our kind-hearted train fanatic that hates getting dirty. Ethan is our happy little chatterbox and I imagine he’ll be talking our heads off sooner than later.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMmxa0-Ks6zB-XToL6baUQuhqkEU9cgU7150Fz4EjD8TmTPT1xsgbJr3eBZJ6t7C5RmBHdxA3O7mS8jpJTpKNzUmF-mgfICXUs2sx0BfYyh5aWKup5WqdhzVzmRq_kqTj9IfuSFlvfYTw/s1600-h/November%202010%20112%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="November 2010 112" border="0" height="176" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNROyJi7OJmnNgZdVFuBkVkoINn1UtlglXtvwxpSd-yh_ScFl4BDj6QAOHB40TQXcX63jV17ZLKIzZVZM8gwOsE9m18cgPKlf9VJ2B6CxiXUvtKyRmnsRR8wz_spTXP7A12HNbZ2LYnk0/?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="November 2010 112" width="229" /></a>By trade I am a Dental Hygienist, although I have been mostly staying at home since Andrew was born. I have been blessed enough to go to Ukraine a few times with my Dental Hygiene skills and work on kids at an orphanage. I hope that I’ll continue to be blessed with this opportunity (having my husband stay home with two kids for 11 days…)<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm5s0UMsI/AAAAAAAAA6k/0k7X5-AgY7U/s1600-h/IMG_1716%5B3%5D.jpg"><img alt="IMG_1716" border="0" height="124" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm59vfA-I/AAAAAAAAA6o/pHr59hqvE-c/IMG_1716_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="IMG_1716" width="244" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7P99lzCtB5W6j_kL1uWa9OVsZLblKNn2q38k5oINH3jMEk1DBePPz_Huc12_xTmbCu7sK3c2DB6rtXY_oN-IPxPr1D3zDzHoWaZwkcWBQ6wCQYrgelgW8AP-a5vVeZg9aYzSyOZLlqac/s1600-h/Andrews%20Stocking%20002%5B5%5D.jpg"><img align="right" alt="Andrews Stocking 002" border="0" height="188" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO3QIaEWPbAPxIE9NqsyZV8CBhHdUU4WehtKXDl1c_91oskjbUvTC4AkcGtn4qvEyWJgvbMtQ6b5TKDZV0_WoouDAjgEsweKrQgCmApIuaw7fhiMi6FNdGbL8FKqNi8rap06VaqufLBx0/?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; float: right; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="Andrews Stocking 002" width="118" /></a>I love to do all kinds of crafts. I was a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator until I learned that I was pregnant with Andrew and realized that my craft room in our tiny condo would need to become a baby room. I also have been learning to sew and loving the idea of quilting. I have many quilts made in my head; but only a few tops and some Christmas stockings made IRL. Now that we have moved into a house with an extra bedroom; I am anxiously awaiting the day where I can have my ‘craft room’ back so I can start my projects again. <a href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm6mJz5QI/AAAAAAAAA60/h7xPPiVMjb0/s1600-h/IMG_4836%5B4%5D.jpg"><img align="left" alt="IMG_4836" border="0" height="100" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm6_i1FjI/AAAAAAAAA64/GuiERtOrVmM/IMG_4836_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; float: left; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="IMG_4836" width="129" /></a>I love cooking fun things; although I *loathe* the dishes afterwards, which often keeps me from cooking in the first place. I have a terrible phobia of Spiders and used to make my husband check the entire bed before getting in, and several times in the night I would request a re-check.<br />

We love checking things out: for example, we will chase a smoke cloud or those moving sky lights for miles to find out where they’re coming from! We’re explorers at heart; and love to travel. We also very much enjoy camping and hiking – but more in places where we can get lost in the woods vs. being right next door to other campers. We would travel every day if we could! <br />
I once met a family through my work who has inspired me to dream of a vacation much like they did. They took an entire year off from <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3DPSXQ5METo7OyBIoryzrvnzVzFN-YOdOvl6pROhQIRDvt-TcuEPY8a1QNY2w3CjDvwekkSGMTqVB5YrJ0QW_44HVw27xf2aRUPod5i9U5elPyT1_zu9kAO2BM4NztEPreTIHvYHaJCk/s1600-h/Texas%20047%5B4%5D.jpg"><img align="right" alt="Texas 047" border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX7Lg9f_Atj62GkxIsFYIVWP7Qa9VSxEzhRMy951wvqRkiPLNSwN2b_i78JuD_2aH-biZCnKV6OX1inpCxa45PcMCClLm1gBr2wfWlTMhLqnqDhGzqhfTtNIsSfZotYMZMtWRPHycjKVE/?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: inline; float: right; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="Texas 047" width="244" /></a>work/school and drove in an RV from state to state; homeschooling – but learning so much about the history and culture in the US. I would absolutely love to do this when my kids are a bit older; although I realize the costs involved are much more than a years salary for our family (not to mention the years salary that we’d be missing) – and unless we win a lottery of some sort (that we’re not purchasing) – we would never be able to do this. One can dream, right?<br />
Well that’s probably more than you needed to know about my family, but now about my blog. Grinning Cheek to Cheek is a blog about my family life and crazy stories that I have to tell about it. I also love to review and talk about products that have helped our family to make life a little easier. I love working with companies and helping them get the word out on their new products and innovations: and I love hosting giveaways for those products as well – so that’s what you’ll see most of on this website.<a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm8hVQDFI/AAAAAAAAA7M/e6sD8owQMGU/s1600-h/March%202011%20102%5B4%5D.jpg"><img alt="March 2011 102" border="0" height="244" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_BMISW_U7dE4/TZXm80oy5rI/AAAAAAAAA7Q/S3s-ecM5Vig/March%202011%20102_thumb%5B5%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="background-image: none; border-width: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;" title="March 2011 102" width="179" /></a>Thanks for stopping by to come ‘party’ with me! If you have not had a chance yet to see Tangled, I highly recommend it! It’s a great movie that has been added to all the other great classic Disney Princess stories! <br />
<b><i>Tangled</i></b><i> features Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), a young girl hidden away from the world by her overprotective mother, Gothel. Rapunzel dreams of discovering what the world holds, when suddenly Flynn Ryder (Zachary Levi), a caddish drifter stumbles into her life. They strike a deal and Flynn agrees to lead her through the forest and find the hidden strength she never knew. </i><br />
The widget below is for having some fun with your kids who love the movie Tangled! There are games, coloring pages, crafting kits to make paper lanterns, styles for your hair and recipes for fun foods! <br />
<iframe allowtransparency="allowtransparency" frameborder="0" height="525" src="http://partnershub.com/widgets/tangled/?p=talent" style="height: 529px; width: 430px;" width="425"></iframe> <br />
I pretty much love any movie with Mandy Moore – and Could hardly wait until I had the opportunity to see the movie in Theaters. It was also Andrew’s very first movie at a theater – and it kept his attention through the whole time (big accomplishment for a two year old!)<br />
So if you haven’t yet checked it out, now is the time. It came out on DVD on Tuesday! I promise you will love it!<br />
Although one lucky winner will receive Disney’s Tangled on Blu-Ray for free from my blog!<br />
